We are currently collaborating on art knives! Pat is doing some designing and metal carving and Steve is doing the job of finishing the pieces to their pristine completion. We'll be bringing them to Lunacon in March and he'll be doing a panel (I think- the commitee seemed very interested) on bladesmithing. Pat's using a dental drill with diamond tips to carve the metal designs. Of course they'll get posted when we get them finished!

Talk to us through the comment tags under the headings that are closest to your interest ie: art world, tattoo, jewelry
Art World
Here's the place to get tips, information and the theory of art. Talk to Pat here with any questions, statements or information that you may have. For those who are interested in fantasy, science fiction and horror art there are conventions that have art shows, a venue for artists to display and sell their work. Coming up in the north east are; Arisa in Boston, Boskone is Boston and Lunacon in Rye NY. There is always a World's Science Fiction Convention, World Fantasy and World Horror. Google search them to find out more or go to Foxfire's links page.
Jewelry and Knifemaking
From time to time Steve will post comments here that have to do with jewelry creation, knife making, and engraving. Talk to him by adding your comments here. Right now he is working on the knife commission, and has another coming up. He loves it! The forging gets done at home, and then some of the grinding, and quenching is done at the studio. Check the link on the homepage to see the pictures of the progress. Steve's just finished engraving a wedding ring for a customer with his GRS hand engraver. He'll be incorporating engraving in some of his knife making also. We'll have some cool links to sites like GRS and other knifemakers and engravers.
